I am Steveah Housley, the 2025 recipient of the incredible Sister Seeking PHX Scholarship. I am beyond thrilled to have been selected and I am eager to utilize this amazing opportunity to fuel my college aspirations. My ultimate goal and dream is to be accepted into the prestigious Howard University, a place that has captured my heart since I had the privilege of touring the campus last year. Having recently submitted my application, I am now anxiously awaiting the exciting news. A little about myself, I am a driven 17-year-old Capricorn, born to two proud South Phoenix natives. As the senior Class President at South Mountain High School, where I have spent the last four years, I have been dedicated to making a positive impact. I am also dually enrolled with PXU City, where I will be embarking on my CNA program in January 2026, allowing me to graduate with both my high school diploma and CNA certification. My passion is to pursue a nursing degree at university and ultimately become a traveling nurse, empowering me to give back to my community. I am committed to multiple community service outreach programs and currently hold a 3.8 GPA, while actively applying for scholarship programs to further my education and make my dreams a reality.
